    How long should you wait for payment on a item ?? Aution ended Saterday night, I accept payment through Pay Pal. I've sent a email and invoce too the aution winner, but have not recieved a reply. Just read the guy's feedback and he has a few no pays. So how long should I wait ??

    i usually give them 4 or 5 days to at least respond, and then i email them saying if they don't respond withing 24 hours i'm going to leave NPB negative feedback.

    I allow 14 days but it's displayed in the bidding rules.

    I always give 7 days, but I list that in the ad. Gives people time to get a paycheck as many bid knowing that there is some "float" time.

    Unless the buyer is immediately in contact and we make an arrangement, I demand deposit within 3 days (and it can be a tiny deposit) just so I know the buyer's serious. Otherwise, I hammer them with email/invoices until 10 days have passed, then file a NPB and relist the item. At least that's what I say in my auctions, I've never actually had to do it yet.
