Seen something today that I thought was the coolest for kids. Check out the Heelys. [IMG] [IMG] They're shoes with wheels in the heels. Seen a kid wearing a pair today. Looked like he was having alot of fun in them.

I saw a kid in those about 2 weeks ago. It took me a while to process. I didn't realize that there were wheels at first and it looked like he was floating...

Yeah, those things are like so 8 years ago.

But they are cool. Busted my ass plenty of times in my old pair.

Also make it impossible to ride a bike. Seriously, its easier to ride with roller blades on than it is with those.

    :D

The midwest must be sheltered because most people around here have never heard of them.

I hate those friggin' things, little asshats go zipping around in stores on those while their nimrod parents are smiling like it's cute to almost knock old ladies down in the isle.

I swear I am the last damn person west of the Miss. that makes their kids say "yes sir" and "no sir" and actually supervises them in public places and cares whether or not they are a nuisance to others.

Ummmm, OK, I better have my coffee now, going off on useless rants this early is no good.

I wasn't allowed to wear them to stores and I had to take the wheels out for most of school.

Now those sound they would be sweet! When I was a kid we just did that in normal shoes. Back then I mostly wore Vans.. Could get a good "slide" for the most part..... Those were the days when having "rails" on your skateboard was cool! :)

Yes they are. But some of their style lately are blah(with the exception of the classics)...... Just bought my first pair of Etnies a few months ago and they are very comfy...

I got my first paiir of etnies when I was like 8. Osiris is comfy too and Emericas. But Vans slip ons are the best. And of course, Chuck Taylors =]

Haven't had slip ons since I was probably 13.. :) They are comfy though.. Once you get them worn in.. Used to order a bunch of the custom classic lace ups... Have a pair of Dr.T's now and some black Sk8-Hi's... Would like to have some low tops classics again..
