    yes, thats right, moles.

what would happen if you did an amputation of a mole on your own, just take a sharp knife, make sure you get all of it.??? is there any real problems that could come besides infection?

just wondering, and FYI im not turning emo and trying to cut myself.

I have a little birthmark on my lower chin. I've shaved it off 3 times in my liftime. It always comes back.

My wife had one removed from her calf that the doctor said looked 'suspect' (it wasn't) and I was thoroughly shocked at how deep the roots were. Easily over half an inch, and she still has a divot as a reminder.

I wouldn't do it, I'd go to the doctor.

Moles are deep skin. They need to be cut out from waaaay down deep. Just had one cut out of the middle of my back. Got a scar but it's better than that damn itching!
Don't mess with it, if it's bothering you get a doctor to sort it out. They can turn nasty!

Yeah, mine had been fine for years but one day just suddenly started getting bigger and kinda crusty, started itching then and it kept catching on clothing so I got it cut out. Had it checked out and it wasn't cancerous....just itchy!!:D
