this area is pure rubble /forums/images/icons/frown.gif and sux digging out, we took the retaining wall 2.5 feet back also towards the fence and removed the old railroad ties. but, buried 1 ground level since they will work great for letting the blocks sit on without settling in worries /forums/images/icons/laugh.gif but the rock is a medium size windsor block, and its $1.25 each. this place we been workin on since we moved in 2 days b4 naches weekend. the blocks are nice and come in 4 colors, and are 35.lbs each if you get medium, i highly suggest them. ill post more after this weekend when i finish,

looking good! that is exactly what i'd like to do only i think mine might end up being twice as high (and so twice as expensive!) right now the back yard is all dirt and belongs to my 2 dogs. here in bend we have this lovely stuff called lava rock and the sh!t is everywhere! /forums/images/icons/mad.gif most foundations for new homes around here have to have it jackhammered out. so if i run into a bunch of that then i'll have to come up with anther plan.

are you getting those blocks from home depot or a stone/brick company?
