hows the engine swap comin along brotha!
To quote: "my engine swap is flowing pretty smoothly so far"
nothing too difficult, besides swapping all of the AC components. I'm almost ready to pull out the old engine, (i have disconnected most of the components and labeled them now). I just have to figure out how to swap to a double pullely on my new PS pump, as the one on the burb leaks.
I'll try to remember to snap a few pics as I actually pull it out of the truck. but so far, it looks relatively simple. Seems alot more simple than changing a pinion seal (which I also need to do before I really wheel )
thanks for the concern,
Well those pulleys are just pressed onto the pumps. There's special pullers for pulling the power steering pump pulleys off. The biggest thing is to pull from the center of the pulley, not the outside. That will bend the crap out of it if you hook onto where the belts ride. Don't ask me how I know.
