One of the guy's I work with runs Pro Mod (More money than sense nitrous freak :eek1: ) and he knows the owner of the car.

I have not seen it in person yet,, but plan to see it this week.
He say's the car is exceptionally clean and the paint work is excellent.

I think I would have to get the car re-certified anyway because I'm sure (due to my size) there will be some mods to the seats and cage.

Seeing that it has LS7 rods throws up a red flag for me. Those are just 7/16" rods, nothing special. Kinda makes me think he might have cheaped out and gone with a cast crank too. Although he spent the money on the Brodix heads, hmm.

Motor was built by USA racing engines aka "The Wop Shop" here in Houston ,,I plan to get all of the spec's when I see the car this week.

I am also looking to see if it is possible to convert it back to street trim.

I would like to drive it back and forth to the grocery store once in a while.:o

Ya, I'm just saying that on a consistent 9.90 car that I would want a set of H-beam rods instead of some factory ones.

What does it need to be street legal? Horn, lights, emergency brake. Doesn't look like it would need much to be pounding the pavement.

Who do you know that runs pro mod? IHRA? I am currently crew chief of a Top Sportsman team and we are thinking of going Pro Mod.
