    CENTER FOR BIOLOGICAL DIVERSITY, a non-profit corporation http://www.biologicaldiversity.org/
    CALIFORNIA WILDERNESS COALITION, a non-profit corporation http://www.calwild.org/
    vs.

    Defendants.
    JOHN BERRY, in his official capacity as Forest Supervisor for the Eldorado National Forest;
    JACK BLACKWELL, in his official capacity as Regional Forester for Region Five, U.S. Forest Service;
    UNITED STATES FOREST SERVICE, an agency of the U.S. Department of Agriculture,

    In this lawsuit the plaintiffs are asking the court to do many things. I strongly recommend reading the suit to really grasp what is being attempted by the plaintiffs.
    This is the big one!

    Plaintiffs seek an order enjoining Defendants from allowing any further ORV recreational or maintenance activities in the Eldorado National Forest.

    Just some of the trails that will be closed are as follows:

    Bassi Falls 4WD Trail
    Barrett Lake 4WD Trail
    Hell Hole 4WD Trail
    Rubicon 4WD Trail
    Deer Valley Trail 4WD
    Onion Valley Trail 4WD (Lower Pardoe)
    Squaw Ridge 4WD (Upper Pardoe)
    Iron Mountain road (Winter use 4WD)
    Strawberry 4WD Trail
    McKinstry Creek 4WD Trail
    Many other 4WD Trails
    This is not a drill!

    These are your Public Lands that WILL BE CLOSED if we do nothing!

    This suit has been filed in Federal Court and it takes money to fight in court.

    This is not the time for people to say well I don t go there so someone else will help out.

    If we allow this to happen in the Eldorado, it will not stop there.

    What forest or other area will be next?

    We MUST stand up NOW!

    How can you help? Money is needed to pay for court costs.

    Join now in fighting this effort to close our public lands.

    I strongly encourage you to donate to the California Association of Four Wheel Drive Clubs,
