My dad has an Exploder, mid 90's model and lately he's been getting the word "BAD" on his CD player. It won't work (go figure) when this comes up....any thoughts?
Also, is there a special tool to take the faceplate off the CD/radio?

    Thanks

    Bryan

It's not a special tool at all. You can get dynamite just about anywhere they sell explosives... /forums/images/graemlins/rotfl.gif

A large hammer was my answer but the Exploder was free so he chose not to listen to me

Go park it in downtown LA. Within minutes a thief will show you how it's done... /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif

they sell these tool's to get the radio out at the local wal mart here.
they should be a peace of thin wire that is shaped like a u bolt.
pop one in each side and take the radio out.
at least that's how my 92 and 97 work truck's where.
