    I gonna test for the local dept. Tips ? What kind of stuff is on the written test ?

    when you apply for the test they usually will give you a study guide, but if they dont go to a book store and buy Ifsta essentials manual. this will have most of the information on most tests. good luck. Chad /forums/images/graemlins/waytogo.gif

    10 years, it is a fun and rewarding job. I did 3 years in the army as a 51M FireFighter, Then Became a DOD Civilian FireFighter after that. Look at the Ifsta website you can order directly from them, they have study guides as well. http://www.ifsta.org/ Good luck. post when you find out if you made it!
