    Fellas,
I'm pretty sure I will be able to attend this. But got a question. I read the Rules and Regulations on how the truck should be and they will be inspecting every truck for what they had listed. And one of them said."E-brakes are a necessity"
I do not have E-brakes and won't have em till about next Spring. My question is: Do they really check? And if so, does this mean I won't be able to wheel since I don't have em? Thanks for any help.

hehehe. I don't know if it was my GBR club sticker (we are known for our anal retentiveness when it comes to a safety gear) or they are just this lax. But the guy walked up and asked if I had a Fire extiguisher and if the battery was bolted down properly. Never looked under the truck and I doubt they will with you. to look under the truck would mean they would get soaking wet with the dew that falls up there in the morning. They asked if I was locked and signed me up for a trail ride. He never really looked at anything. I doubt they will check all that well. Some of the junk I have seen on the trail seems to back that up. I have walked away from a few trucks that were just plain not safe and I didn't want to be anywhere near them durring recovery. Was planning my excape route figuring it was going to be a blocked trail when they ripped parts off this POS. Your truck even without parking brake is going to look like the safest thing there when you see some of the junk that shows up. I have seen trucks with cast pitman arms cut in half extended with mild steel and welded back up on the trail.
I'm not garranteeing they won't check but that's how it was last year. They asked and that was about it.

It's not my damn planet monkey boy!

Cool, thanks for the info Grim.
yeah, I was planning not to mail in the registration form when I read that and wait till next year for Tellico. I have everything required except the e-brake. But I figured it will take Forever, if they checked everyones truck by their list. I'll wait to here from everyone else and then make my move. Thanks again and take care.

Lets all try to meet at the "check in station" at the campgrounds early Sat. morning or at least be already signed up for one of the earliest rides.
