    OK I HAVE BEEN DOING LOT OF REASEARCH ON SOFT TOPS FOR MY 85. AND WHAY I CANNOT FIGURE OUT IS HOW DO THEY ATTACH TO THE TAIL GATE.
    SO MY QUESTION IS HOW DO THEY ATTACH TO THE TAIL GATE?

    The new Kayline Fasttrac has a channel that the edge goes into. You still have to screw down the channel. I was going to use double side tape but wasn't sure if it would hold. Besttop snaps.

    On my 72 the snaps are screwed into the tailgate top or end.
