Ok I just rebuilt my carb on my truck. But the choke heater isnt warming up to activate the choke. What do I do it was just replaced. Does the wire from the choke heater go to the alternator or does it go around the back of the engine and into the cab?

The wire goes to a Oil pressure switch ( the switch only lets power to the choke if the engine is running) that depending on the year will be located either behind the distributor or above the oil filter. Then it goes the the fuse box on a Ig Circuit. If the track came with a electric choke there will be a fuse marked choke. Get the truck started and check for power at the choke. If you got power then the element is bad.

I don't need no damn shop manual, I got a pornographic memory.
