DRMO or DRMS or whatever the hell they're calling themselves this week are auctioning a lot of 3 Turbo-Hydramatic trannys at Ft. Stewart, GA. I think they're TH400's but I wasn't able to tell via the NSN on FEDLOG. Plus I can't visually ID one from the top or side, only the bottom...

Plenty of other cool stuff to check out and bid on if you're interested. Try searching M1008 and M1009 for CUCV's.

I second that they look like 4L80's to me. I am positive cause they have the drum sensors on the drivers side.

Too bad that their condition is listed as:

    "H7 Unserviceable - condemned/ reparable
    Explanation:
Material which has been determined to be unserviceable and does not meet repair criteria;..." /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif

A lot of gear that gets H7'd is still fixable. They just don't want to fix it.

I didn't say that these trannys were ready to use. I found the auction while searching for something else for the squadron, and decided the GA-area CK5'ers should find out about it. I saw that they were H7'd and figured that someone could probably make 1 or 2 from 3, or use them as cores if nothing else.
