ok, so a truck im looking at buying for cheap because it "wont move".. has a tranny issue.. i put it in gear today, and gave it throttle, and it was "slipping" like it would if you slipped a clutch..now me, knowing almost NOTHING about auto trannys, or transmissions at all.. thinks that it could be a torque convertor problem.. anyone have input? its an 89 3/4 ton with a 350/700

    tia!!

Slipping in an auto tranny is usually a good sign that the tranny is roasted internally. It will most likely need to be rebuilt or replaced. /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif
