i remember there was a difference in xmember hieghts in the auto vs manual crossmembers. ijust don't remember which was lower. can anyone fill me in. i am going from an auto to a manual tranny and just wanted to know if i will need to drop or raise the xmember while i get a hold of one made for the manual.

I'll do a strait out trade if anyone is interested, that is an auto xmember for manual xmember for a 72. i got everthing else.

I went from a manual to automatic and the cross members are the same. They swapped without a problem
