I've got a pair of auxillary tanks I got here on ck5 from nicks72 that I'm gonna be getting rid of due to another change of plans :doah: I thought I'd let you guys know about them before I go the ebay route. One is an aluminum copy so it's light and won't rust. The other is the original steel one with the Hickey label still on it and in good shape. I guess they hold about 13gal. each. I have no idea how they mount(I never got that far) With shipping they cost me just a hair under $200. And I need to get that out of them to help keep the wife from killing me for buying other parts.

These fit inside above the wheel wells.

    Interested in the aluminum one.
    Shipping would go to 05663.
Are you willing to sell just one at a time?
    Any pics?

I really need to sell both if at all possible. No pics yet, I'm still digitally deprived :o If someone else would want the other one then I could seperate them.

I've got both sides. I'll get down to the storage unit later this week and see which side is which and then I can let you know. Thanks, Doug

And for ****s and bubbles i just might take the other (hopefully the oem hickey) for future projects. I'm in wyoming on an oil rig right now so it'll be a bit before i can get down there.

   :eek1: I got a call from the storage place where I keep some of my parts, bicycles, and misc. household stuff. It seems that during our recent cold snap some worthless sacks of trash decided to break into some storage units and mine was one of them. They made off with an old set of 16" tires and rims, an old bike, a shop vac, and last but not least my gas tanks!!!!!!!! I'm sure they have no idea of what they are or what they might fit. I filed a report but can't say I expect to ever see any of it again.

Your post is in poor taste/uncalled for.

You totally jumped the gun here...

My 'tard' is for "BASTARD" okay? as in "those Bastards" got the tank I was hoping to buy. Nuff said.

Your right I was wrong!!! Let me know how many times I can say I'm sorry and on which Forum. Hope you accept my apology and yes I am very thin skinned on this subject, people stare at him all the time. Not knowing you I should have given you the benefit of the doubt.

These misinterpretations are why you should always refer to thieves (and other unsavory characters) as ASSHATS!!!!! :haha:

    or ASSCLOWN...

    No chance for misinterpretation.

If you get so luck as to get the tanks back, I'm still in.
