Those who have been paying attention know that I recently placed an order to Avalanche for Xover steering parts. Well due to the heavy Xmas shopping that the wife and I did this year, it put my CC balance $4 below the amount that Avalanche needed to run.
Avalanche called me and said it was declined, after I checked my balance I called them back and requested that they run the amount for $10 short and I would send them $10 in cash/money order. They said no problem and even still shipped out my order today on my good faith for the 10 bucks.
Now thats a company that has my business for life. Great customer service like that needs to be advertised which is why I shared my story here with you all.

10 bucks isn't much but the willingness to keep the customer (me) pleased by honoring my order even tho I didnt fully pay for it just astounded me. A big thumbs up for Avalanche Engineering.

Thought the post was going to be about that damn plastic thing.

Good customer service is hard to come by these days.

LOL, I thought you were gonna talk about the plastic beast too. I was about to give you a funny look! Glad to hear a company out there is willing to work with customers and treat them with respect as to have them return. Too often many businesses are willing to blow you off if they mess up (or you) because they know for every person they lose another sucker will shop with them later on.....

Obviously you've never been to their shop. Jeeps and Land Cruisers are their bag.

I went there one time and they looked down at my fullsize. Asked why I was waisting my time with a doubler, when I could run the Atlas 2.

I will NEVER buy anything from them. Any company will be nice when you're paying them.

The one in Denver. Maybe the guy was having a bad day, but you know how first impressions are. They last.

All three of us who went that day had the same feeling.

Just wondering since most of those guys drive full size trucks.

This was over two years ago. Maybe they've changed since then. There's alot of money to be made, since offroading has become more popular.

Maybe it was because I was in there in my work clothes (business attire). Anyways, they weren't helpfull at all. He actually asked me "Why are you wasting my money on a doubler?"

And pointed at his hybrid and said "I run an Atlas 2, that's the only way to go!"

Anyways, I don't deal with companies that treat me like that.

Sam's Offroad in Tulsa is the same way. I was told if you spend more than 6k there, you're worth remembering. This was from a former employee of Sam's.

I'm glad that you guys have had good experiences with them. I've heard they put out great products.

If I ever need any of their products, maybe I'll give them another try. Thanx Jess.
