Alright...this is probably an easy question for most of you hard core guys...i really don't know jack about different axles other than my 10bolt being about as weak as they come. Do any other common (i.e. 14 bolt, Dana 60...) retain the 6 on 5 1/2 bolt pattern as my '84 10 bolt? I just got new MT Classic II's and if I can't find a beefier axle with the same bolt pattern it will be a long time before i can part with my wheels.

I think your only chance would be a semi-floater 14 bolt. I think some of those came with 6 lugs. Beefier than that are 8 lugs.
