Since I am looking into bigger axles I would like to be able to cross reference axle codes. Not the ones on the glovebox. The ones stamped on the axle housing. Anyone have a site that I can punch the code in and get info about it? Thanks

Why not just take the cover off and look? Much easier. They'll be stamped with the ratio they are.

Junkyards have a book with those codes. You might want to ask if you can get a copy of the page.

Unless you're looking for axles from multiple companies, you'll probably only need the GM Trucks page. [IMG]
