Just installed a 12 bolt rear and lift in my 89 Blazer..
Well the universal joint from my 89 is too big for the YOKE on the 12 bolt.. what option do I have to rememdy this?
I really don't want to put in the 10 bolt again.. is there a u-joint like the 447 that will work for this application?

Are you having problems already? You never called me either turd! Can you get a driveshaft from harolds or Austin Drivetrain? Pricey but works! Any other ideas? Ask K30Guy!

I used a NAPA #248 when I did my conversion. It should work for yours to. Get a spare. NAPA im my area does not stock this normally.

Bruce.. sorry... I got started early... Couldn't resist finishing..
I found out the yoke on the 12 bolt is smaller than the 10 bolt.. that's the only problem I ran into..
Kent.. thanks.. sounds like my truck and your truck are identical setups.. thanks for the quick response.. Off to Napa I go..

When I did mine I beleive I reused the yoke from the 10 bolt . All you should have to do is get a different oil seal. I think its also for a 10 bolt I can't remember. But I can check if you want.

You can reuse the 10 bolt yoke. 10 bolt runs a bigger U-Joint than a 12.

Thanks guy's.. Napa gave me part # 372
Worked great... I didn't know if you could re-use the 10 bolt yoke.. I couldn't get the yoke off the 12 bolt.. thing seem's like it's welded on.. Tried Impact wrench and breaker bar.. no go.
Anyway's.. truck is done.. 12 bolt w/ Auburn limited slip in it and 4 inch lift w/ 33 tires.. man it look's so different..
Thanks for all your suggestions.. I'll have pics posted tomorrow.
