    Does anyone know how much a 10 bolt 1/2 ton front axle and rear axle weigh completely assembled? I am trying to get rid of mine and someone wants to know shipping on them. any info will be greatly appreciated.

    i'd have to guestimate about 200 at least on the front,,maybe 150 on the rear??? [b/]

    1/2 ton rears are about 300 lbs, the front is probably a little heavier

    my dana 60 front is 580 pounds. good lord.

    1986 GMC Jimmy 6" springs 3" body, 38/15.5/15 Swampers, 14-bolt FF rear, Dana 60 front, 1991 front-end.

    When my brother and I toss my 3/4 ton 10 bolt front into the back of the truck to have it worked on we were surprised at how heavy it was. I'd say it's around 400 lbs.
