My thread beat yours by two minutes :p:

I want to go real bad for sure and have my end set already . Working on a camper trailer , but have access to a pickup bed trailer from Craig Moe to fall back on and can borrow a shell ( I dont want a tent this year for simplicity :wink1: ) :D

Are we doing the same time frame ?

Hells bells. We never know from month to month what our situation is gonna be. When are the exact dates again? Maybe, maybe. Jenn was asking about this a couple of days ago.

    Details men! We need details!!!

First weekend of October , it does cost a bit in gas and such . I spent around 450.00 total last year . Thats gas , beer ( lots of beer , I said lots ) , food , campground .

If its anything like last year we will leave either Wednesday night from here to meet up north and then Thursday morning drive into Utah . And coming home Tuesday morning .

Campground is filling up fast .

Yup hence the cabin instead of having to worry about them escaping from a tent or worse waking me up in the middle of the night to have to walk to the bathroom to go potty.

I'm not a good waker upper.

We need to iron that out . I wanted to leave Wed after work for Flaggstaff and sleep over ( even if its in my truck outside Denny's ) like last year . Someone needs to have a barbeque before Moab so we can iron this out :thumb:

Good deal Travis, it's been awhile, eh?
Thurs morn breakfast would be good, but early. I mean early. I would like to be in Moab by 1pm. That's my goal, lotsa time to set camp and loaf around:D

And Paul, you're right, but we might want to wait a little while, You know how things change...

I've been away from Moab WAY too long! And not been posting much either! Mike And Rhonda's(cheap little east side of Flag restaurant) opens @ 5:00 A.M. and I get up @ 4:00 A.M. 5 days a week, so whats early to you? I'd really like to get there early too.:D

If we get out of Flag by 6, that would get us a nice, take your time, fun, stop for pics, easy ride into Moab by 1-ish.

Well , from here to Flagstaff is the usual couple hours or so . Then from Flagstaff to Moab is from breakfast to after lunch give ro take . I didn't time it .

The ride home though , is a straight shot using up a normal workday . I got home in time for dinner after we left in the morning .

As for the DD , if its reliable , and trustworthy enough to drive everyday , it should make it . Just make sure you are prepared to break and fix it if need be . I took my 23 year old 305/700r4 and made it last year , then proceded to wheel all winter and drive to work everyday when I got back :pimp:
