Within the next month or so, I'm looking to purchase a C5 (97-04) Corvette. If anyone know's of one for sale from a reputable source (dealer, individual, etc) I'd appreciate some help. I want to take my time and find the right car at a good deal.

A little about what I want. Hard top or removable hard top. No convertables. Prefer automatic. DO NOT want black or white. Also prefer stock over customized/modified. Prefer no more than 7-8K miles per year of car.

BTW, the closer to Tucson the better. However, I'll drive a "reasonable" distance for the right car.

Thanks for the help guys/gals :waytogo: :smile1:

    Unless it's the ZO6, I don't want to shift.

As for bragging, NO. Just mid-life crisis:D I do turn 35 this year. Waiting for my house to close this month. Opens up some $$ that I want to just play with. The car will be a daily driver. I've found about. 4 that interest me, including a Red 99 on Chandler that's on Ebay.

I was just setting here wondering how I managed to miss my mid-life crisis. Wonder what the symptoms are for such things as a mid-life crisis. Can you die or be an invalid from such things? Oh heck, I made Mark mad before he left Co. I had better lighten up mid-life crisis or not. You better smile Mark, we miss you up here wheeling with us!!

Realistically, I'm out of the wheeling. My contract is up in AZ this Oct and I will most likely move to Missouri. Since it's mainly mud there and ALL my extra $$ will be involved in two race cars, I don't figure I'll be able to get out in the hils much.

I figure a Corvette will make a nice daily driver for most of the time. Especially since it looks like where I'll be in MO is about 175 miles from my brothers family & the race team/tracks. I'll need to commute every Friday & Sunday night.
