I'm in the process of installing a B&M light truck megashifter into my 77' pickup. I'm having some trouble wiring up the neutral safety switch. The original had it located at the bottomm of the steering column with 2 wires running to it a purple ans a purple with white stripe. I ran both these two wires to the new switch on the shifter and it starts in every gear. I did notice that with the key turned to the on position you can still turn the column as if to put it in gear and while doing this the truck will not start. ANy idea how to lock the column in place, and what wire I need to run to the new switch? Thanks for your help! /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif
