I had a great time out there yesterday .... even with the problems I experienced. It was a beautuful day for wheeling, and we had a great turnout (5 blazers and 3 jeeps if I remember correctly?)

I have to say thanks to everyone who helped me out of my little situation:

Russell -- I'd still be out there if you hadn't gone and found a fuel pump.

Justin -- Thanks for the supplies (jugs, rags, trash bags) and thank your buddy (I'm horrible with names) for the help with the fuel pump rod and hole.

Shelby -- Thanks for hanging out and keeping me company while I waited for parts (I hope you didn't get in too much trouble when ya got home /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif)

Man, if you guys hadn't been out there when I flooded out, I would have been screwed!! I can't thank ya enough ....

    Thomas.

Hey I am glad to hear you got home ok. Jesse was his name. As I left the slab I got hang up on a rock in the middle of the river and now my capret is going to smell just like yours /forums/images/graemlins/rotfl.gif
Other than my broken exhaust pipe and a bad running carb, we made it home ok too!

I hope you get that motor cleaned out real good!

Oh no! You flooded out too? I parked my truck in the garage as soon as I got home and put fans inside. They've been blowing the carpet dry ever since; and are still in there blowing away. As of right now, it doesn't smell at all; but I'm thinking once I start driving it again it will /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif

Glad to hear you made it home. Time for you to get a new exhaust, huh? Especially since it's your daily driver /forums/images/graemlins/eek.gif LOL!

I got a nice new rocker dent on the drivers side and found a nice rust hole that the PO had covered up with bondo. It was a pretty good job though cause I never knew it was there until a rock decided to show me!

    Haha, that's great; we're famous! /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif

Lonestar K5? You would think the big Colorado K5 windshield sticker on Russell's truck would have tipped him off /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif

Didn't get a chance to talk to those guys, as I was having problems of my own; but that was a nice pickup he had out there! /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif
