Hey guys, thanks again for the fun run today. Sorry I had to fly.
I should have said good-bye to all of you.
Hope you all made it down OK and found my note.
It was good to put some faces with the names and meet some new people.
I'll post some of my pictures soon.
Oh! and I hope you all had a good time at Hooters :D .
BTW, I still didn't make it back in time for the show.... oh well.

I got in about 8:30, Scott should be getting home about now. Good to meet you Dave, sorry you had to run.

John had a pretty bad headache via ratchet and everyone else had to go so we called off the dinner get together. Me and Scott ended up at Chili's and Bignick showed up as we were leaving with a brunette hotty on his arm.:D

We had a good group today and finally got a Burb out there too. It's nice to see the CO Crew growing!

Scott has a lot of video, I imagine he'll have it up tomorrow sometime.

What time did you guys get down to the bottom?
Did you get caught in the rain??
I was going to wait down the trail a little ways but no one up top moved so I just kept going. At least I got home in time for some brats.

We got down at right about 5pm. The rain came in heavy just as we pulled out onto the road.

That was a great time everyone, I didn't think a run with that many rigs would go so smoothly. :thumb: I can't wait to see pics and the SWEET video that I'm sure Scott will spend countless hours editing for our enjoyment. My Nepalese friend (Mukesh) definitely had a great time, probably mostly due to him not understanding all the crass jokes you guys make  I tried to explain what Scott ment by "Redneck" to him for a couple minutes, then just gave up, it's a hard term to explain if you really think about it.

AND A BIG THANK YOU to everyone who was able to donate to our non-profit. Here is our website http://www.DevelopingHands.org , if you are like John and thought you could get out of it by saying you'de paypal us some $...you can click on "donations" button on the website and git 'r done :deal: Just an FYI though, paypall takes a fee, so we don't get everything you donate that way, the best way to donate (aside from handing over your hard earned cash directly to me) is to mail a check to our office. Again, every little bit counts, we appreciate every dollar that is donated, and if you want to do a monthly donation (helps us greatly when dealing with budgets) we will even put your name on our website :D

Good run yesterday by everbody. My head got a little burnt from all that sun, but got cooled off in the rain after leaving. We were scraping ice on the
inside of the windshield, ahhh convertible trucks:D Hopefully my buddy Drew that came along will pass along some video & photos he took. I'm trying to spark some interest in him to get his badass scout running again, been parked on the side of his house for 3 yrs now:doah:

I ended up with over 40-minutes of video. I'm going to whittle it down to (2) 5-minute videos. I should have at least one finished tonight, and possibly the second one too.

Twin Cone was actually a little more challenging than what I thought it was going to be. Nice little trail.

    Thanks for the seat, James.

I have a ton of pictures to post later when I get home as well. After the cold ride home I just went to sleep and forgot to eat. Wish there was an easier way to post all of the pics. I might look into a photo website or something instead of resizing every one.

Man, that sucks. I knew you should do that 20ft. jump.
The crack looks old and I don't understand the cross member being bent.
Is that something you fabed up for the flat bed?

Yea that's a cross-member that was co-designed and built by Mrk5 and myself. There was a small crack in the frame just before the run (noticed it the night before, no time to fix) but it wasn't even a half inch long, and had not made it to that hole in the frame yet...I thought I would be ok.

Hey guys I wish I would have read more on the thread about the trip. I was a little busy and skimmed through it and didn't see the part about conoco at 470 and morrison. I was up there as well and waited on top until about 10am. I then ended up going over to jefferson and did georgia pass and then I think swan fork, well I ended up in Montezuma. I really wanted to get together with the group but I can only blame myself. Well there will be always the next trip. Later

Dam, too bad you didn't decide to take webster pass as I was coming over it from Montezuma to Twin Cone and would have ran into you. I guess you were just on the other part of the range from me. I was running late because of the tightness of the pass and didn't get there until 10:45. I figured they would have been gone but luckly they were running late too.

Dave, we'll have to exchange a cell number list so everyone can get ahold of each other, just in case. I'm glad I had Jasons number that morning.

Nick, I think your going to need another frame. Maybe we can pick one up at Anderson's for cheap unless somebody close has a junker.

Nice pictures guys, Alex you should be in photography. I think you missed your calling. It'll almost be a shame when your truck is running. :haha:
