anyone care to insert a guess as to what car I'm talking about? hint: 1948.....

we ended up at the imperial palace at the collectors show, where they had great little vehicles, and whatnot, but this one really stood out... ( serial number was #002) the best part, is there's a picture of me STANDING NO MORE THEN 5 FEET FROM IT!

nope, although I did get to stand by deusenburgs, packards, willies, lamborghini's, '59 corvettes, austin's, ( they had a GMC S-15 typhoon there for some reason) older then dirt caddy's with the fins, and wings, and whatnot.

this one is far more rare then even those: it was by luck that it was parked there, because they had a club meeting the week before, and the car owner allowed the collection to store it for him.

allright, the suspense is killing me...

I stood next to a Tucker Torpedo

(with exception of me getting the year wrong, everything else is true... )

I wish he'd have made it before the government/big 3 came in and crushed him.... those things were bad ass, and added many saftey features not seen in the modern car industry until several years down the road.
