Hi all, I'm new to the forum, and I can already see from the few posts I've read there is some very good info here. Well, I'm officially back on the K5 wagon! Had a '70 before and sold it, shame on me! Yesterday's new one is a '72 CST with a good overall body. Structural integrity is good with very little rust. It has a mild wrinkle in the left front fender, and the front bumper is pushed in in the same area, the rest of the body and top are good and straight. Some interior work is needed, but mostly it is just the front seats. It has a fresh pro built 454 4 bolt @ 9.5:1 compression with ported heads, stainless valves, steel crank, balanced & lighted rods, performer intake/cam kit, 800 Quadrajet, coated hooker headers 2 1/2 pipes with flowmasters, and it is all toped off with a K & N filter. Add a new 4 core radiator, mid 80's ribbed belt & pulleys, and all new hoses. It runs lovely. It also has 4 new 33x12.50 tires on the rally wheels, a 3.73 posi in the rear, and no lift. Yes it does have tilt and cruise, but no air (bummer), but I guess I can't have it all for $3500.00.

    Happy Friday, Rob

Thanks everyone for the welcome, I'm really glad to have a Blazer again.

To answer Steve's question, they are Hooker Super Competition headers. As a side note, the guy told me he tried to put a set of Hedman headers on it when installing the BB, but they would not fit, so he bought the Hookers instead. I don't know why the Hedmans wouldn't fit, he just said they didn't and he couldn't send them back after he tried to fit them. However, the Hookers fit nice without any modifications. Out of curiosity, is anyone on this forum running a BB with Headmans?
