I've noticed that the back spacing on 8 lug wheels always seems to be more than on 6 lug. I think it's pretty much "standard" for the 6 lug factory or aftermarket to have a 3.75" back spacing. (the less back spacing the further the wheel will stick out right?) With this 3.75 spacing the inside of the wheel is about 1/4 of an inch from the tie rod end! Right? heres my question, If you were to run wheels ( I think this would ony be a problem with 15" rims) with say 4 1/2" (which seems to be popular on these) spacing on a 8 lug 10 bolt or dana 44 wouldnt the wheel hit the tie rod ends? Or are the rotors spaced out further on these?
