Years ago, I was told that by changing the stock fan to a “Flex Fan” would provide better cooling. So I did change my stock fan to a Flex-Fan and now I want to change it back to a stock configuration. Here is the problem, I’ve moved a few times and I’ve lost the stock fan, clutch and bolts. I would like to know what aftermarket set up can I use ? I spend a lot of time in the hot desert and I need the best stock cooling set up.

    thanks

    Dan...

why are you switching back? I never heard of anyone having a complaint with a flex fan. I mean my 7 blade fan works great but the clutch is broken so its always spinning no matter what.

I've got a complaint or two on flex fans.........

What are they good for? Bling bling factor and that's it.

Didn't increase cooling. Made the truck sound like a bad a** when the rpms were wound up.

And one more thing, don't hit deep water in them /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif
