I have a problem with my back window. When i try to put it up, it goes about half way then gets stuck. The stupid thing wont go all the way up unless i push on the glass while i turn the key. I have all power windows and cant put the back one up from the front seat controll. Andy ideas???

There's not a lot of room inside the gate for the glass to 'miss' everything. Pull off the inside panel and raise the glass til it gets stuck (with the gate closed) Now have a gander inside with a flashlight. You'll prolly find the lower sash is catching on the latch mechanism. I had to bend and tweak a few things in my old gate to get the glass to go up and down reliably.

I'm with my fellow Canuck on this one. You can also adjust the side sliders. The bolts are visable on the side of the gate.

All of the above except grease the tracks. The tracks have a rubber insert that is covered with fuzzy material that lets the glass slide over it. Dust, dirt, water, all cause this stuff to wear off and sometimes build up in the track. LMC catalogue has an exploded view of the tailgate parts. They are not difficult to replace once you understand how they work.

The Felts in the side tracks have fallen appart. The window is not in the posistion it belongs and the regulator is hitting against it's self.
The switch in the latch on Jans 79 was burnt up. I bypassed it till I can order a new one. Greased up the regulator and oild all the release stuff. MAN it flys now. The window now works without having to yank and push on the tail gate. My only worry is one of the kids messing with the dash button while the gate is down. I'm going to also take the welder and fill the weat area's on the catch. About 3/16 if ware on the latch in the gate and about 1/8 in the catch on the bed side. Should tighten it up and stop the gate from rattling every time you hit a bump. The release handle also works much better now that everything is greased and oiled up.
Dealer should still be able to get the side tracks. The felt comes with them .I think your looking about $35 for the parts.
