Does anyone know what could be causing my blazer to backfire (exhaust) when I shut it off? It can be a few seconds after the ignition is off or immediately after. I did have a holley carb put in a few months ago and just recently replaced the coil. Could it be that the carb needs to be calibrated to the new coil?

does the truck idle before you shut it off? could be that the idle mixture is jsut too rich and when you shut it off it's dumping all that raw fuel into the hox exhaust.

How fast does it idle?I'd guess raw fuel in hot muffler.
