Backfiring thru TBI

    What would cause this? I haven't done anything to the timing at all. I replaced the rotor,cap, and plugs 2 weeks ago. It's having a hard time starting now also.

    Where is the idle fuse located? I didn't see it in the fuse box under the dash.

    check for a intake gasket leak

    Has it been doing this imeadeatly since you changed the cap? You may have got the firing order out when you changed it.

    sounds like you may have gotten the wires crossed. clock wise 18436572 is the correct order just for reference.
