    Re: Baha claws VS MT/R\'s

    I recently met a guy with a brand new set of claws on his pickup. He said they were the most dangerous tire he had ever owned when dirivng on wet pavement. He said he couldn't drive over 30 on the highway and had to almost stop going around corners. Now consider the source, they were on a new F-150. Neither the M/T's or the Claws are safe on ice.

    I have the MT/R's and a friend has the claws. Mine still look like new and ride great. His is on a 2000 jeep and are half worn on the front. Oh and he got his after me. He has the bias and mine are radial. Although now you can get the claw in a radial. I really like the MT/R. It grips the rocks good also. Look at my site keith.coloradok5.com Some pictures of the tires on my blazer

    ride- MT/R
    look- Claws (personal opinion)
    performence on ice- MT/R
    street driving- MT/R

    Winner= MT/R

    Steve Watson runs MT/R's and loves them.

    How loud are the claws on the highway? and has anyone had the same experience Derf's friend did? I am thinking about getting a set, but not if they are that dangerous in wet weather.

    Screw them all!!! SWAMPAS BABY!!!! Talk about an agressive looking tire!!!!! Ya want a Cadillac ride for yore delicate bottom? Get the radial version!! Don't like the ride of either? Then drive yore Honda Civic!!! Ya ain't lived till you've driven non-stop for 12 hours on 42" Swampas!!!!

    Re: Baha claws VS MT/R\'s

    I was debating about the MT/R's or Baja Claws also. After reading many reviews on both I'm choosing the MT/R's also. And yea I would like to have swampers but they cost more and my last set of them were Thornbirds and I only got around 25,000 miles out of them. Which I don't mind the ride, but when I had the thornbirds the couldn't even balance these tires, I'd like to have at least a half way decent ride.
