Ball joint replacement

    I have a lower ball joint on '76 K-5 dana 44 that is shot...Plan on replacing all of them.. any tricks or do's & dont's I should no about?? Thanks

    If you want to do it all yourself, You can also rent a ball joint press at AutoZone or wherever, and press the joints in yourself.

    I am using brandon's writeup as well. Went ahead and bought a craftsman balljoint remover and a ball joint press from harbor freight for $24 press also works well on u-joints
    I think the craftsman remover set me back $15

    i take mine apart myself and get a machine shop to press them on. they only charge $5 to press them on down here
