So this 88 Burb I just picked up puked a battery last week. Fire up the truck. Drive to the store. Away from the truck no more then 5 minutes and come out and get "CLICK".
Barrow the battery for a few day's out of the 79 I just sold and hasn't been picked up. Been sitting so the charging was good.
So I dig through the paper work the PO (Previous Owner) gave me and find the recipt for this Wallmart battery. 2 years old to the week three year replacement. Head out to Wally World and get in line behind another guy with a simular battery that is 2 years old and dead. Hmmmm Good battery I surmise.
So lacky at Wally world hooks it up to his machine...Hay this battery is bad! Yeahhhh hay your smart!
So he calls up to the service desk says it's a exchange. Get in line behind the other guy. My turn and I hand them the recipt. Woman does the exchange and hands me $11 bucks. I don't argue LOL. two year old battery that I didn't buy in the first place and they give me a refund of the price difference nad a new battery.

That's some of my worry. I have a new crap battery that will give me trouble in a few months. The battery out of the 79 is a Three year old Duralast with 8 year total warranty (3 replacement last 5 are prorated) and never a lick of trouble. I have 3 of these and same story.
    Guess time will tell.

Consider yourself lucky on that deal. He did something wrong because that is not how it's supposed to work.
