Battlement mesa?

    has anyone ran battlement mesa? two of us are thinking about going the week-end of june 15, wondering if it is worth the trip?

    Count me in. I've never ran it, but I've heard its a fun trail. Let me know where you want to meet..

    If you guys want to go up I will take you.I live right below it in Battlement.It is a fun trail.Not real hard.But the rock garden is fun.

    Sounds like a good deal...i don't think parachute is that far from junction...course being new here there is room to error /forums/images/icons/grin.gif Just fitted a frieghtliner seat belt to the drivers side tonight and peeled the drivers door off as it is wacked pretty good anyways. /forums/images/icons/tongue.gif <font color="red"> </font color>

    Parachute is exit 75 on I-70.Where in Junction do you live?

    /forums/images/icons/confused.gif Living with my mother in law right now...exit 24 road...continue due north till you hit K road...as you pass K road we are up on the NW hill in a white house...with to old K5's outside....lol. And i work at Transwest Frieghtliner off of I-70 next to the Acorn trux stop... /forums/images/icons/grin.gif

    AZBLAZER, Its a 45 min drive time from the acorn to the Parachute exit. Lots of oilfield activity going over there right now. 4x4trails.net had a trail report and directions on how to get to the trailhead. I'm in the process of moving and switching jobs so I will not be able to run it this summer.

    Your close to 21 road.Have you done that one.It is a really fun one.Can't be afraid of body damage though.

    damn, I wish I would have ran that trail before I hauled the blazer up to wyoming. Maybe another time. Let us know how it was!
