    Ok guys.
I'm just about finished my BBC swap into my 87 K5 blazer and I'm trying to find some headers. I'm trying to find a set of 3/4 length headers verses the full length. Does anyone know who makes such a thing and or what the part # is?
Thanks for your help in advance

Sorry I don't have any info I just want to get notified when someone who knows does posts:crazy: .

I've also been looking for a set of headers that fit nice in a K5 with BBC and TH400.

I can tell you that Hedman and Flowtech full length headers fit very poorly, so bad infact that I sent them back. I think I might give the block hugger style a chance , it's that or manifolds.

    Good luck, Jeff

There is a company called Patriot Exhaust Products that make a set of headers, which are refered to as Mid-Length headers. Summit.com racing carries them for Chevy small block 350's.

OOps! Sorry I forgot you are looking for BB headers. The mid- length headers Patriot makes for a BB are refered to as Clipper Headers. They are mostly designed for older custom rods, but Patriot claims they are universal for all BB with an automatic transmission.

Hey, what part number of headmans are you running? I bought a used set, and have been debating putting them on. I am running a 454 in a 1985 k-3500. Thanks for the info if you can help out.

Ok guys, thanks for keeping the thread going......
But I'm looking for a part # or directions to a pair of shorty
headers NOT full length, as they won't work in my application.
    Whats out there?

Not to soud like a smart a** but what makes your setup any different than a lot of others? I run a 454 TH400 doubler combo in my 86 K10 and my full length headman headers have great clearance around the transmisson and the ORD shackles.

    No worries.
Just want to buy Headers once......... as I'm going to be linking my front end in the next year and want my exhaust up as high as possible, out of the way.
Thats all but If I cant find them, guess I'll have to use a set of full length.
