Very interested in these. Are they short (standard) height?
Got a pic you can post or email me?

Interested in the intake as well.
Would my '76 BBC truck motor by oval or square port?

Todd, I'm willing to bet your motor is oval port but no way to be sure without looking or checking the casting #.

    You've got a PM.

I have to pass on the intake. I need a square bore setup.

    Thanks

    Steve

Big block cam oiling problems are common, but easily cured. Here's a link to what I used when I built a 454 (460 actually) for my Jeep.

    http://www.off-road.com/chevy/reviews/bbc_oiler/

It is simple and only costs about $50. If you can run a drill and tap, you're in business. The article explains everything, and Bob is very knowledgeable and helpful.

Thanks for the link. I am aware of that fix and was thinking of doing that but my plans have changed and I am not going to keep the truck the motor was built for. I am going to build an S-10 Blazer instead.
