Yeah I know this is pretty well pointless I'm just excited. I'm waiting on ORD's sales people to arrive for work. Then I'm ordering my HD greasable shackles and greasable fornt bushings so I can get these springs under the K5 hopefully middle of next week /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif UPS guy left them next to the torn apart K5 in the driveway /forums/images/graemlins/rotfl.gif

i have a question out of curiousity for you, i noticed you are working on a 6-lug conversion for the 14-bolt. is it a semi or full float rear end? if it's a full floater, i believe the hub pilot hole is roughly 5 inches in diameter. is the hub pilot hole on your 6-lug (i'm assuming ) front 44 the same? i'm very curious to know the benefits of doing this.

    thanks,

    lance

the center hole on the Full floater is larger than the 6 lugs center hole. That would be why I listed enlarging the center hole of the rim. The Dana 44 would work fine with the stock sized hole. It is not as large as the Full floater is. I am doing this so I can just reuse my 6 lug front parts and keep my 6 lug rims instead of buying 8 lug brakes and rims. And doh ORD is closed for BB03! Wish I could be there too /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif
