i purchased a 6 in. suspension lift for my 79 jimmy. it's BDS (formerly known as big dick suspension ).while driving around to get every thing to seat a little my brother hit a deep pot hole on the pasenger side and now it leans that way, i've lifted a few trucks with various brand lifts, and i know springs settle but damn allmost 2in. has any one else had this problem ? /forums/images/graemlins/k5.gif

Those springs have a life time warranty, no questions asked.

In what order did you tighen the bolts? if you sinched everything down while there was no weight on it, then you could have prelaoded the spring, and by hitting the pothole you caused that side to move. If nothing is broke(like your other post says) then I woudl loosen all the bolts up and start over.

thanks, i'll try that this weekend. all there was on the frame was the trans and transfer case when i installed the lift. as far as the order i tightened the bolts i don't know. i sat under the truck last sunday for 20 min. and couldn't see anything bent or broke. thanks again /forums/images/graemlins/truck.gif

well, i pulled it apart again. the bolts were loose on the drivers side. now it's 1in. diff. between sides. i say i'll hit a rock on the drivers side and nock it in place.
