Are bead locks worth the trouble of putting on rims? Can the tire still be ballenced for high speed driving? Or are they a cool looking do nothing?

First of all, beadlocks are not DOT approved, and I've heard of people getting tickets for them. But then again I'm sure a lot of cops dont know what a beadlock is. Also, I dont think you need them unless your airing down to 3 psi and doing extreme hardcore trails, and they're real expensive they can almost double the price of new wheels. Check out this months Willie's Workbench in FOURWHEELER, he did an article on them.
