the rear bench seat that beard seats makes has a seat mounting kit that fits 71-80 or so blazers. my luck, i have a 1970 blazer... does anyone know if a) there is another truck with the same hole configuration as a 1970 blazer or b) if there is someway i can make it work with the stock holes (DRILLING=BAD)

I would call Beards and ask them for the bolt hole layout dimensions. They seem to be pretty helpful.
