I finally found a D60 for 600$ going to pick it up tonight it is a chevy dually front with 4.10's out of an 85 it is complete tie rod brakes the whole deal and I'm hoping u-bolt plates. I will update with pics tonight. Just had to tell I couldn't hold it in any longer. Ryan

Cool deal, are you going to get the SRW hubs or get a matching width rear axle and run stock hummer wheels? /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif

I'm gonna try and do the single wheel hub if I can find them cheap somewhere. I held out for the D60 so I should be able to find them cheap I hope. I want to get the beadlock rings Cyberfire made, for my 16.5's they look allot better than plain hummer rims.

That's true, but you still have no bead retention for the inside bead. You could weld a lip into the rim though, that's supposed to work pretty good. Congrats nonetheless!

Anyone have a pic of a single wheel D60 without tires and wheels? I think I got lucky and this guy didn't know what he had I will update with pics tomorrow when I have better lighting. It came with the u-bolt plate for the side with the 2 bolts but he couldn't find the other 1.

try and use studs rather then bolts
I have seen pics of housings broken stripped out from using bolts
dually hubs will be real obvious
the hubs will be near even with the wheel mounting surface

Yeah it should be pretty ovious. Like it was said the hub will either be almost flush with the wheel mounting surface, or it will stick out like a upside down cup in the middle of a dinner plate. (The dinner plate being the rotor, and the cup being the hub body). Sorry that's the best description I could come up with. Later

I don't know Wakeboard but he doesn't know I'm skipping town now.

This is great no need to get new hubs now just clean it up and install. Off to the garage.

Sweet. Your gonna take off the knuckles and inspect the lower bearings and kingpins before slapping it in right?
