jusy realized that I've been out of the metal scene way too long. I'm on Yahoo music videos and listening to Children of Bodom. never heard of these guys. wonder who'll play next.

You dont strike me as the metal type for some reason bro. Good luck finding a decent band to listen to .I found that C.O.C ( corrosion of conformity) has kept it interesting , some good songs by them in my opinion. I havent gotten exited about a bands music for a really long time, as i feel the newer music is all sounding the same to me. :doah: I dunno, i dont like any newer music really, just my .02

:D . "you can't judge a book by it's cover." I used to be into metal really heavy in jr and high school. bands like Metallica, Pantera, Metal Church, COC, Suicidal Tendency, DOD, SOD, Megadeth, Flotsam and Jetsom, oh how the list goes on and on. when Headbangers Ball went off air, I just lost interest because it was hard to go out and spend money on a CD or tape and find out you didn't like the music from that band.

I catch pieces of metal I like, but I'm in the same boat, totally detached. Partially disinterested, too, though.
My musical taste has gotten so muddy I can't really just select a single genre to look through when I'm looking for music...

Bodom has been around since the mid to late '90s. They rule. Listen to the song "Needled 24/7".
