    Beer Brats, [​IMG] it's what's for dinner.:waytogo: Yes, that is Budweiser that they're soaking / boiling in. I soak them over night, cook them on the grill, them put them back in the beer and let them sit over the coals for about another hour.

    i cook em in either budweiser or MGD... brats, half an onion, a few garlic cloves and beer. soak overnight, boil em up on the stove, grill the brats, then put them back into the beer to boil on the grill for 30-45min.....

    oh and they HAVE TO BE johnsonville original brats

    Local "Supersaver's" meat dept has really good brats. I like thier sauerkraut brats. Has sauerkraut in the brats.:bow:

    Dammit. Went grocery shopping tonight and came across the JV brats and just had to buy some JVBeer brats. :rolleyes: :rolleyes: :rolleyes: :haha:
    Gonna have some good bbq'ing this weekend. :bow:

    Pretty good. I eat much smaller portions now a days. I'm not loosing the weight as fast as I'd hoped, but I am loosing a few pounds a month.

    Thought I'd check on that. Beer brats aren't exactly what you would call "low cholesterol!" :D

    That's why you boil them in beer for awhile, boils the grease out.
