I'm gonna do My first one tonight. How long should I leave it on the grill and what would be the best temp to do it at?

Medium temp, on the oposite side of the grill from the heat, and cooking time depends... 1 to 2 hrs.

llow to medium temp. Lot's of seasoning in the chicken. The beer can needs most importantly, open. I had a friend that put unopened beer cans in a pair of chickens and left them to cook. Really messes up a chicken (and the grill) when beer cans explode in them.
The best part is that you need exactly 1/2 a can. If you mistakenly drink too much, then you have to finish that can and start over with another. It may take a few cans to get it right, but that's part of the fun of it.
