Ok, just got done with lifting my 89' k5 and doing axle swaps and stuff like that. Basically it took me about a week and a half to do it (mostly by myself I might add) and now I have a back ache..lol. Basically what I did was a 1 ton axle swap, TSM rear disk, Front Crossover steer, AGR rock ram, ORD shackle flip, (5" lift total), POR 15 all underneath and Custom extended shock mounts.
    Here are some before pics
    http://www.zing.com/picture/pde4edaf7403863d7295cf739d005c7a1/fe91bec0.jpg.orig.jpg.

By far the most complicated of them all was the AGR Rock Ram. Mostly b/c they sent me the wrong gear box and took them forever to correct it. I would've been done this a half week earlier if they didn't forget to send me the correct part 3 days in a row....Yes, they LITERALLY FORGOT to send it..they told me. Second, my rock ram still isn't quite finished b/c the Ram itself is leaking, so I have to call tomorrow and find out what they're going to do about it. :(
Anyhow, I ran through some dilemmas in the swap...ie broke sending unit (yall know about that) and broke a rear leaf spring, so had to get a new one :(
Doing the 14bolt swap was really hard also since it's the 1 ton version and everything has to be lined up perfect...etc.
Anyhow, enough babbling...here are the after pics:

WOW! Looks great Boss! Now if I can only get shackle bolts and finish mine up except the d-shaft on day 2 of work which will be wed. Hopefully that truck can ease the pain of selling the 75.

    Thanks guys!!

Capt, yeah, I feel better about selling the 75' now, that I got this built. Still will miss it though.

77'k5blazer, I purchases all this (axles, tires, etc, ) a long time ago planning to put it in my 75'. But some personal things came up etc....that I put it under the 89' instead. It set me back A LOT!! I'm broke now..:(
But not as bad as it seems since I've been collecting parts for this for quite some time (for the past year).

Those are 36x12.5x16" TSL Radials. I still need to hack the fenders a bit more (the front end lip..rubs when flexing). It's in the shop right now getting an alignment, so as soon as it's out...I have to take the Rock ram out and send it back to AGR so they can fix it, and then I can drive the mofo the way it's intended to be driven/wheeled. :) AGR is really a pain!

    Anyhow, fr8train, we'll roll when you're ready :)
Wayne, come down anytime...let me know in advance :)
    Thanks again....take care.
