Check back with me in 2 or 3 months... Taking pics of everything... thinking about doing a write up or something similar to the tech section stuff for a 6" lift the right way and on a budget... something like that. Will fill up my web page space haha[IMG]

<font color=blue>Here it is the day I got it, October 17 1998. It was 100% stock except for a 350 4bbl from a 79 1/2 ton truck, and a dual exhaust with glasspacks.

Here's what it looks like curently

So far, I put on a new power booster and master cylinder (might swap it out for a Camaro m/c now that I have rear disks.), a 4" Rancho lift with 4 springs (way too stiff, I'm designing a coil setup for it), 94 Cavalier seats (I think [IMG] ), a 40 chanel CB, a new motor (9.5:1, RV cam, rebuilt heads, Edlebrock Performer intake and 600 CFM carb, headers and dual flowmasters), Centerforce 2 clutch, '83 1 ton 14 bolt with the stock l/s and 4.10s (Detroit waiting in my basement) TSM disks, 1350 output yoke on the 205, 3.5" 1 ton driveshaft, '77 Dana 44 8 lug with 4.10s, and warn hubs, a set of 15x10 American Racing white wagon wheels that I painted black, a set of 36x12.5x15" Swamper Radails, and a soft top.

Right now I'm getting started on the bodywork (I have all the parts I just need more cooperative weather and some daylight). I have to replace the rocker panels and make something to replace the rocker panels, then I'll paint it dark blue. I will also be making some some bumpers soon since the stock ones got messed up on the trails. I have almost all the parts I need for crossover, I just need the pitman arm, steering arm and drag link. I have a MIG welder and access to a tubing bender so I'm going to make a rollcage, and I plan on re-doing the suspesion this year too. Thats all I can think of for now

This is the picture of what I had to start with after trading a guy a deer rifle for it. I've replaced everything on it (from the balljoints to the engine and everything in between) including the hood after it flew off on the way to get it inspected. I wanted to learn how to do it all myself (it took me about a year). Of course, there still many more things a want to do to it.

That pic is from after I got in a car accident in November. She's all fixed and pretty again, I just haven't taken any new pics.

I am particularly impressed by the '76 Jimmy traded for a deer rifle--what a difference!. I traded a Barrett M82A1 for my black truck. I miss the .50, but I love the truck!
