    Good evening Colorado Crew members

HELP HELP, I am in dire need of a hydralic clutch bellhousing for my 87. If any one has one they would sell me reasonably and ship to Montrose I'll take it. It seems that when that spring came out of my clutch it must have knocked a couple of holes in the bellhouse. If anyone can help me out pm me please.

    THANKS EVERYONE!

Looks like I've found one at a local yard for $75.

Duane may have one around Montrose for $95. If he can get I think Dad will go that direction since mine would need to be shipped.

Looks as though these hydraulic bellhousings are pretty sought after. The only other one I found was on ebay for $125. Oh and the deal can get them, $280.:yikes:

With winter around the corner Fred, shouldn't you be looking for some new all-season tennis balls for your walker and/or cane? An maybe some gortex diapers?:D

Any luck Fred? Good luck finding one. The last time my clutch came a part was in Moab during the run over poison spider, spike and gold bar (right in the middle). It took us until 3:00am to be ready for the next day. Best of luck.

Dropped one off where the blue thing is hiding today. $95.00 plus tax. Used from a junkyard. Hopefully this will get the blue thing punishing the trail again!!

Duane you didn't tell these yo yo's about watching the mud flying last night. The sound of that supercharger letting go is something I will remember for a long time. I'll bet that mudslinger didn't move another inch when it blew.

Yes sir, it is great to have the "FAMILY CK5", even with a few weirdos like the driveway punishing crew. Thanks everyone for your interest and assistance.

    The old man, fred2mihi

It's good to know you guys have my Dad's back since I'm not close enough to help him out as much as I would like.

    Thanks Duane. :thumb:

It also makes me smile that John and James have my back on giving Dad a good dose of harassment. Lord knows he's earned enough of it!

What do you mean a bell housing isn't the outer part of a bell that you ring?????

Dang I knew I was being rooked.

Yep the mudbog and tuff truck was pretty cool for a smaller town shindig. Yep the bang of the blower letting go definately gets your attention. I also saw a few motors that would really make the cherry bomb break stuff, or get stuck about 30 feet up in a tree.

A few people fixing driveshafts and motors after wailing on thier trucks for a minute straight in the mud. Funny watching vehicles that are having trouble making it to the starting line and then wondering why they only made it 10 feet into the mud.

Tuff trucks was pretty cool. Not a very long course but always fun watching cars fly thru the air.

So Fred, welcome to Montrose. I didn't know that you had moved to "THE LAND OF JEEPS" It sometimes gets difficult to find the good used HD GM parts around here since they quickly get snatched up by the "Heepers"
    Doug

P.S. Duane, They took me off nights so I guess you can't come around late at nite asking if I'm working just to see the looks on their faces

That's okay I am off nights for another month anyway. I will have to come in with 3 of us and when they go to call tell the other guys watch the exits, last time he ran.

On another note we are still looking for the bellhousing. One I had was wrong. So if ya got one lying around collecting dust???
